Experimental Training Board has been designed specifically to study characteristics of a Photo diode. The board is absolutely self contained and requires no other apparatus.
Photo diode is used for detecting light at the receiving end in optical communication. Light photons incident on the photo diode gets absorbed in the absorption region which leads to the generation of electron-hole pairs

Features
1. Photo Diode Trainer Board
The Trainer board comprises of two analogue meters one is voltmeter and another is ammeter.
2. Wooden Plank
A wooden plank of half meter is provided with the instrument. Plank is fitted with wooden scale to measure the distance between Photo Diode and lamp.
3. Lamp House
A lamp house is provided with the instrument as a light source.
4. Photo Diode
Photo Diode is provided on box which is connected with the trainer.
5. Connecting Wires - 4 Nos
Banana wires of 12 inches long with 4 mm banana plug is provided with the instrument.
