The steam chamber A double walled cylindrical Vessel. Steam can be passed in the space between the two walls through an inlet and it can escape out through an outlet .It is kept on a wooden platform with a removable wooden disc closing the bottom hole the chamber

Calorimeter

Copper calorimeter: The outer calorimeter is further placed inside a wooden case and slides freely in two parallel grooves of a wooden frame under a shelf. The gap between the calorimeters and the wooden frame is lined with felt to minimize thermal losses.
